Today is a beautiful day here in Boston, sunny and clear. But a few days ago we had some terrible rain, if you walked outside without an umbrella you would get totally wet.
There is a joke about Boston weather: If you don't like the weather here, don't worry, just wait 15 minutes. It will change!
Boston weather is very changeable.
This past year in Western Massachusetts there were actually tornadoes, which was a shocking thing for most of us. I have never seen a tornado. Some people lost their houses, trees were knocked down, and there was a lot of damage.
We usually say that the Fall is the best time here, because the weather is usually good and the trees change color, the maple trees become red and the willow trees become yellow, and it gets very beautiful.
